Here is a close up look at the embossed picture so you can see the different embossing powders and the crackle paint.

On the mat for the stamped image I used Tim Holtz crackle paint. I then inked it all over (to get the ink in the cracks). The sprayed it with water to get the excess ink off. I think used my MM distress edger to rough up the edges.

The second thing I did was I embossed the stamped image with 3 different Distress Embossing powders (2 different green colors for the trees and brown for the ground). After that I used ink to make the ground look brown and the sky lighter.

The little bird (which is actually cut from the AC packaging in this months kit) was inked and then glittered with Stickles. I thine uses a pop dot to "lift" him off the card

Wow! Ann - this is an amazing card! I love the different embossing powders you used create the trees...and I also love the "crackled" border. But my favorite item on your card is the bird! He is so cute and he looks like he is flying between the trees! Cool! Good luck!

This is beautiful Ann - the crackling and embossing looks amazing. I like the bird too...I'm going to have to check out my packaging a little more carefully now!
