This was about the chair my grandpa used to sit in (he passed in 1984) and the game my sister and I would play with him.

The pp is MME scraps! I "masked" some magic mesh and used distress ink on it in the bottom right corner.

Journaling: I so clearly remember my grandpa's big golden coloured recliner that was his favourite place to sit. It was in the doorway of the living room and you had to pass him if you were coming in from the other part of the house. It used to be a game for Tracy and I to try and get by him. We would even go so far as to go outside and around the house to be able to get to the other side without him catching us because if he did....he'd tickle us silly!! I think it used to work both ways that sometimes he would let us through, but there were times we'd let him catch us too!!

I like all the layering here. I love the idea of a random memory album too.

I remember seeing this one before and loving the story behind it. Like the touch of the masking and distressing too, and the stitching

Almost missed this one. What a beautiful memory. Love how you used all those "old" colours from the time. Great layout.
